Ey Up!

I'm starting March with a selection of my favourite wedding venues in Yorkshire!

I'm not from this beautiful county, but my heart lies here - I came up for university, moved away, and came back for love!

Gareth and I are getting married in beautiful Yorkshire in May this year - can you guess which venue we've gone for? Let me know in the comments!

So here are my top Yorkshire wedding venues, in no particular order....

The Oakwood at Ryther

Gorgeous oak arched beams, beautiful grounds, completely instagrammable, this had to be on my list!

I love that you and your wedding party can stay on-site, and there are some many amazing suppliers that are recommended for your perfect day!

beautiful countryside, perfect for a chilled

out walk the morning after!

The Tithe Barn, Bolton Abbey

Have you worked out my theme yet?

I promise they won't be all like this - but the gorgeous 16th century Tithe Barn is an incredible venue.

Light, airy, full of open space, with plenty of space for the ceremony, dinner and everything in between!

It also has the most gorgeous views, and is Image: Elizabeth Baker Photography

in an absolutely idyllic location!

Waterton Park Hotel

I'm always so excited when I see that I have a wedding at Waterton Park - the idea of getting married on an island is such a dream!

It's also super convenient - everything in one place, and just imagine how incredible the pictures will look!

New Craven Hall

Big open space, exposed brick, I love the quirky feel that New Craven Hall has, and the ultimate wow factor!

This is such a versatile space, super convenient to get to, and so personal to you - you can create your perfect day, with every element tailored to your style and taste!

They also have the perfect space for a food truck to roll up to serve your guests the ultimate midnight snacks!

Left Bank, Leeds

A gorgeous old church gives you all the glamour and high ceilings of a traditional venue, but with none of the stuffiness!

Left Bank Leeds is a grade II listed former church, and the versatility of the space is incredible!

It's used for community events, gigs, yoga

can check it out before you make any

decisions!

I hope I've lit the touch paper for lots of exciting venue based adventures - I'd love to know where you're getting married!

Happy wedding planning!
