For those of you who know me, I'm an absolute control freak who has a bag full of just in cases, that's got even worse since having a baby!
In my opinion, a wedding day emergency kit is a great idea - a bag of those essentials, just in case you need them!
It's definitely something I would give to someone you trust on the day - or maybe leave it at your reception venue when you set up, to make sure you know it's there!
So what should you include?
You don’t technically need anything, but for peace of mind and less stress, there are some ideas below!
Many couples find it hard to grab a drink or something to eat when their wedding day is so busy, so a drink and a snack is pretty handy.
If you take any medicines, this is obviously essential, but you could also think about things like paracetamol or antihistamines, although hopefully you won’t need those!
Beauty products are ideal for touch-ups or mishaps during the day, or there are items that could be used for quick clothing repairs or stain removal.
Other practical items are things like a phone charger, plus payment options if you need to catch a taxi to your accommodation that night. Definitely don’t forget your keys!
Another great idea is to have a printed list of your suppliers and their contact details. If there are any payments which need to be settled on the day, include these too. You can then hand this over to the person you trust to deal with anything that arises on the day.
